ongoing project about edible flowers - future foods

What does it mean to eat a flower? They sit at a beautiful crossing point between the wild and the cultivated - decorative and nourishing. An invitation to reconsider where our food comes from. Flowers carry cultural memory - in medicine, ritual, cuisine, and ceremony. This project forms part of ongoing research into future foods, extreme weather, including edible flowers.

A selection of these edible flower paintings are available as a zine publication.
