In Sanskrit there are five elements, beginning with Ākāśa - Space / Ether. Before earth, air, before water, before fire — there is space. From which everything else emerges. Almost every element in our body was forged in the heart of stars and scattered across the universe when they died. Black as the universe before light. White dots as stars, galaxies, the punctuation of matter.
